Dr. Cheryl A. Duffy, MD FAAP   Dr. Duffy has served the Shenango Valley for over 16 years. The Warren,OH native graduated magna cum laude from Youngstown State along with earning her medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM) in 1990 as part of a 6 year combined BS/MD program. She completed her residency in Pediatrics in 1993 at the nationally acclaimed Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital at the University Hospitals of Cleveland where she managed critically ill patients and flew on helicopter transports of sick and injured infants and children. Dr. Duffy is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, which she originally earned at the end of her residency in 1993 and she has maintained her Board Certification since then, most recently re-certifying in 2008. She is also an instructor in Neonatal Resuscitation. Dr. Duffy enjoys all kinds of music, practicing yoga and spending time with her family. She lives in Brookfield with her husband and boy-girl twins. Dr. Joseph R. Frank, MD FAAP   Dr. Frank Joined the practice in 2007. The Austintown, OH native earned an undergraduate degree with a Bachelor of Science in Premedicine at Penn State University, graduating with Honors in 2000. He completed his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM) in 2004, and completed his residency in Pediatrics at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, part of University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, OH, graduating in 2007. Dr. Frank was the recipient of the Carl Zeithmal Award for Excellence in Patient Care while at Rainbow. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Golf and Penn State football are some of the activities he enjoys. He lives in Sharpsville, PA with his wife and dog Cookie.     Kristie Shumaker, PA-C   Ms. Shumaker joined the practice in 2004. She earned her undergraduate degree at Walsh University, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and completed her Master of Science degree as a Physician Assistant from Duquesne University in 2004. Ms. Shumaker enjoys competitive distance running. Samantha Johnston, PA-C   Samantha Johnston joined the practice in 2010. She earned her undergraduate degree at Gannon University with a Bachelor’s of Health Science degree and completed her Master’s of Science degree as a Physician Assistant from Gannon University in 2010. She enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.
